Substitutes or "yes you can have pizza"

You don't have to always give things up that you love to eat.  You simply have to be able and willing to find healthier options.  They don't always taste the same, both most of the time you can get pretty close, especially if you're cooking at home and you call the shots.

1) Pizza -- homemade soy flour crust, turkey pepperoni, lowfat mozzarella cheese ... boom.
2) Pancakes -- soy flour recipes are abundant online
3) Spaghetti -- edamame noodles are soy, high protein and lower carbs. You can also try spaghetti squash.

My husband's stepmother sings the praises of almond flour, but the carbs aren't as low as soy flour.  Even if you do a blend of wheat/soy or white/soy, any reduction is progress and better than going white flour.
